Definition  For Relative Adjectives:

    Relative adjectives are adjectives that are used to introduce a relative clause. They are used to describe a noun or pronoun in more detail by providing additional information about it.

Examples of relative adjectives include 

"who" in "the woman who won the race," 

"which" in "the car which is parked outside,"

"that" in "the book that I read last week." 

    In each case, the adjective is used to introduce a relative clause that describes the noun or pronoun being modified. Relative adjectives can be used to describe a variety of characteristics or qualities of the noun or pronoun being modified, such as its identity, location, or function. They can also be used to provide more detail about a specific event or action, such as "the day when I met my best friend."

    Relative adjectives are often used in combination with other words to form relative clauses, 

such as 

"who" with "was," 

"which" with "has,"

"that" with "was."
